This Privacy Policy describes how Awaire Technologies LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Airtura mobile application and related services (together, the "Service").
"Airtura" is our brand name; the company providing the Service is Awaire Technologies LLC, a California limited liability company.
By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Information We Collect
Information You Provide Directly
- Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password. Passwords are hashed and we never see them in plain text. If you sign in with Apple, we receive only the limited identity information Apple shares with us (which may include your name and a relay or actual email address). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google.
- Flight searches. We record the flight numbers and dates you look up so we can show you your tracked flights and relevant notifications.
- Saved and tracked flights. Flights you choose to save or track are stored on your account.
- Feedback you submit. When you submit feedback through the in-app feedback form, we record your message, your selected category (bug, feature, general), and your email address so we can follow up.
- Communications. If you email us, we keep a record of that correspondence.
Information Collected Automatically
- Device and technical information. Basic data needed to deliver the Service, such as device type, operating system, app version, IP address, and general location derived from IP.
- Push notification tokens. If you grant notification permission, we store an Apple Push Notification service (APNs) token so we can send you flight updates.
- Session data. Authentication session tokens are stored on your device to keep you signed in.
- Subscription and purchase data. When you purchase a subscription or Tura Pass through the App Store, Apple processes your payment directly — we never see or store your credit card, debit card, or other payment-method details. We do receive and store information about your subscription state (such as which product you purchased, whether it is active, and when it renews or expires) through our subscription processor, RevenueCat, so we can grant you access to paid features and restore your purchases across devices.
Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not use third-party analytics, advertising trackers, Mixpanel, PostHog, Google Analytics, or similar tools.
- We do not sell or "share" your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites (we do not engage in tracking governed by Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework).
03
How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and maintain your account
- Provide flight status, delay, turbulence, and briefing features
- Send push notifications about flights you are tracking
- Respond to your questions, feedback, and support requests
- Protect the Service against fraud, abuse, or technical problems
- Comply with legal obligations
04
AI-Generated Content
The Service uses generative artificial intelligence (AI) to produce significant portions of the content shown in the app, including (without limitation) flight briefings, "Captain AI" chat replies, delay explanations, post-flight summaries, and other text content. To generate this content, we send flight context (flight number, route, current status, weather conditions, and delay information) to Anthropic, the operator of the Claude AI model.
AI-generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or out-of-date. The Service is informational only and is not a substitute for official flight or safety information from the airline or flight crew.
05
How We Share Information
We share information only with the following third parties, each of which plays a necessary role in operating the Service:
Supabase
Stores your account, authentication sessions, flight searches, saved flights, and feedback submissions.
supabase.com/privacy
Apple
Processes your login if you sign in with Apple, and delivers push notifications to your device through Apple Push Notification service.
apple.com/legal/privacy
AeroAPI (FlightAware), AVWX, FAA NASSTATUS, and other aviation-data providers
We send flight numbers and dates to these providers to retrieve current flight status, weather, and operational data.
Anthropic
We send flight context to Anthropic's Claude model to generate AI briefings, chat replies, and delay explanations.

Apple In-App Purchase
Apple processes all subscription and Tura Pass payments and handles billing, renewal, refunds, and family-sharing entitlement directly. We do not see or store your payment-method details.
apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes
RevenueCat
Manages our subscription state on our behalf, including which products you have purchased, whether your subscription is active, when it renews or expires, and entitlement status across your devices. RevenueCat receives a pseudonymous user identifier, device identifiers, and Apple App Store transaction events.
revenuecat.com/privacy
We may also disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Awaire Technologies LLC, our users, or others.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
06
Data Retention and Account Deletion
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active.
You may delete your account at any time:
- In-app, through the account screen (in compliance with Apple App Store guideline 5.1.1(v))
- By email, at legal@awaireapp.com
After deletion, we may retain limited information for legal compliance, fraud prevention, or legitimate business record-keeping. Aviation-data provider logs (such as flight lookups) may persist with third parties under their own retention policies.
07
Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your password and device safe.
08
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), or the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Delete your personal information
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Data portability
- Opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising)
To exercise any of these rights, email legal@awaireapp.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
California residents have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising their privacy rights.
09
Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact legal@awaireapp.com and we will delete it.
10
International Users
The Service is operated from the United States. If you use the Service from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country.
11
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you through the Service or by email. Your continued use of the Service after the update means you accept the revised policy.
